Mike Florio just loves dead horses because he beats them to a pulp. If you ask him Shanahan would have multiple championships by now if he'd gotten Cousins five years ago. That guy has to literally be the stupidest Dips**t working in NFL media, he's pretty much never been right about anything. Plus he's a Viking homer, he predicts McVay and Shanahan will have a tug-o-war to acquire KC next offseason. Wow a guy who just makes s**t up actually has a job on NBC Sunday night football.

If Trey was a franchise qb our roster would be the same because he would still be on his rookie contract. If he ever gets it he will demand a big contract, making the overral roster worse. That is the reasoning as to why you don't draft a project in this salary cap era.

Yep Bills, Eagles and Chiefs are really regretting drafting projects.
You're not allowed to use their own logic against them, that's clearly unfair and simultaneously it means you hate their favorite QB.

We Have a franchise quarterback in that phenom Brock Purdy. What does that mean having a franchise quarterback? Paying him top dollar? That's not a plus. Having a guy playing like Mahomes or Montana is, while enjoying a franchise team while you are still not allowed to give your franchise quarterback a new contract.
Still, has anybody won a SB while taking more than 15 percent of the cap that year? There are a lot of one and done qb's out there.
You can go for the money, or the rep and endorsements like Brady.
