2 trips to the NFC Champ Game
trip to the SB
10 point lead in SB
10+ point lead in both Champ Games
99 top 10 rated
38-17 won loss team record with JG as starter

Higher career rating than Peyton Manning. Guess he was better than him after all.

I think rating means something, you seem to think it means everything, I would disagree. We don't have to make ridiculous claims, like your Peyton post, but we can still recognize the facts as they are.

The fact that Jimmy, Kirk Cousins and Dak Prescott are above Peyton (and Joe and Steve) is the only fact needed toward its relevance as a stat.

Would you say it has no meaning, cuz outliers? or it favors certain style of play, over other styles of play?

You seem to suggest rating has no meaning at all, or it means everything, like your JG > P Manning post. How about it has some meaning? That would be my position.

It has very little meaning. Certainly compared to say how someone does in the postseason statistically.

Who specifically is the outlier?

Of playoff games? Absolutely

Of regular season games that don't matter after season is already over? No not really.

Some of us prioritize the playoffs more than others though. Others prioritize garbage time performances in playoff blowouts.
