I just watched the Niners hammer the Dolphins in SB 19 on NFL network. What a way to get psyched up for the season. Montana doing his ballet dance and hitting guys all over the field. Eric Wright making a great INT at the goal line. The ferocious pass rush that had Marino o the run all day.

Damn I miss those teams.

Good time indeed. Usually #1 in offense and defense too and it showed in the playoffs.

Me too that team was sooo stacked at every position. That was an oline, dline, backfield linebacker and complete offense. Then they got Rice the next year Wow amazing team and FO.

This is why I never compare teams or players from different eras. Those teams had no salary cap and free agency hadn't started so you could really stack the deck. Plus there were fewer teams so the talent wasn't spread as thin.

If I'm not mistaken I don't think the team has finished the season #1 on both sides of the ball. At least that's what I remember on a 49ers Rush episode recently lol.

I'm with you man. I think the defenses on those Super Bowl teams get overlooked because of the offenses, but it seemed like every championship team had either #1 or #2 offense and defense. I think this year we have the #1 D and #3 O.
Anyone else having trouble trying to get training camp tickets for the 2 weekend practices? July 30th and August 5th. I've been trying to get tickets since 2 but nothing loads

Why go, it's probably going to be 120 degree out down there. Wait for the heat wave to end, if you live inear Santa Clara. I live in Chico and it's going to be in the 100's for the next two weeks. Up here it averages about 92-95 degrees every day through out the summer. Sant Clara can get hot too, but is all of California going through a heat wave? But, July and Aug as you've stated you wanted to go. This s**t will probably be over by then. Have a good time. Like watching games on my air conditioned and beer stacked apartment. Nice, 55" and I'm good to go. I do, like an occasional visit to my local sports bars.

This has nothing to do with TC but watching a replay of the last Super Bowl win, it's funny Christian McCaffrey's dad just made a catch for the Niners because Rice left the game in the first half to get checked out in the LR. So you've got Mike Shanahan up in the booth coaching the offense and CMC's dad all of a sudden in the game, pretty wild. BTW I forgot how great of a commentator Dan Dierdorf was.

Late 80's and 90's commentators were the best IMO and I don't think there will ever be better

Stay cool private like I know you are! I live in Newport Beach and it is 78° it's been this way for a couple weeks, it's perfect. I live less than 2 miles from the chargers practice facility in Costa Mesa but I don't have the heart to watch that s**t

Can anyone guide me to the right area on anyone who might have extra training camp tickets that they want to let go of?
