Well, I saw this question posed in a clip, and it's a damn good question.
One the one hand, you have to say yes because sack artists are the most valuable defensive position in this absurdly pass happy league.
On the other hand, we're talking about Aaron Donald. Every bit the physical freak Bosa is.Donalds most unbelievable stat? No, not 4-time DPOY.
It's this: 138 Games, AV 138. At defensive tackle.
Performing at Reggie White level. For 9 years. This dude shows up every game to pick up his paycheck. He's proven it. Think about our situation over the last five years to appreciate that. How much is that worth in salary?
On the other hand, Nick Bosa is just starting the prime of his career. His mental game will only get better. With the cap exploding, his contract will look cheap in three years.
I'm not gonna say Bosa has done more than Donald (cuz he hasn't, no one has except maybe going back to generational players like reggie white, deacon) but when you look at the financial direction of the league, the role edge pressure plays in today's game, his training and work ethic (coming back from the knee), you have to say, it's not crazy to pay Bosa on par with Donald. Maybe a little more.
Not saying he's gonna produce like Donald, but he will have equivalent value and possibly mean more to us.

He should. Aaron Donald's prime is ending. Bosa's prime is just beginning.
The only question is by how much. I think $32M a year is fair but I'm afraid it'll be $35M a year, which feels like too much because that's close to franchise quarterback money. $32M still feels like it's distant from franchise quarterback money while being ahead of all the other non-quarterbacks.

Bosa deserves all the flowers. Get rid of Deebo if you have to.

Five rookies YOU should be drafting in fantasy football
— Ryan Heath (@QBLRyan) August 5, 2023
1. Marvin Mims (ADP: WR70)
Mims is electric after the catch — his 8.5 YAC/reception in 2022 was 2nd-best among Power 5 WRs in the class.
He did this despite a massive 16.3 aDOT (it's harder to create YAC on deep targets). pic.twitter.com/kZ2sN4hJyY

Also Bosa was a monster in the SB. What a silly thing to say.
EDGE over DT. Donald isn't even the best DT in the league anymore imo. That's Jones. Part of being paid elite money is what you are gonna do going forward, not just what you've done.
dude won DPOY and he's tossing out some snarky BS comment for attention lol

Right? Bosa has 2.5 sacks in NFC Championships (really 3.5–the near-safety on Jalen Hurts should've been counted as one) and Aaron Donald has 0 sacks. But hey! He brought Jimmy G down on a 3rd and forever so he's the most dominant NFC Championship player ever!

Yes Nick should be paid hire than Donald, as some said Donald's prime is behind him, while Bosa's is now, $33M-$35M a yr is fair, considering the jump in the cap, percentage wise, etc.... It's all about the structure though, I wouldn't worry about it, it'll be a team friendly deal, likely a 5yr extension thru 2028.

Obviously he will be or he'd be signed by now.
