With all due respect. Shanahan has and he is the one who runs the show so...

Oh I know he has. He's put all his stock into Brock.

Again this is the same dude that gave up 3 1sts just to get Lance in the building, passed on Mahomes/Watson/Allen for Kirk. Passed on Brady for Jimmy and made JG the highest paid player in history off of 5 meaningless games.

Passing on Mahomes will always come back to haunt us.

We could have won at least one super bowl with Shanny by now If we had drafted Pat.

This is the biggest miss of all. Can't stress this enough. We probably would have min of 1 superbowl by now.

I feel like Kyle values Alex Smith traits and not Aaron Rodgers traits, whatever they may be specifically. Drafting Trey seems so foolish now, especially given the stupid amount of running Kyle had him do last year to get him hurt and not develop him as a QB.

Anyhow, team looked terrible yesterday. The good thing is that it was all the back-ups.

As ineffective as those designed Trey runs were, you have to call those because Trey cannot execute the pass plays anywhere near the standard needed to play in the NFL.

Anyone wanna bet that Purdy has terrible halves, hell even terrible games this year too?

It's bound to happen. Happens to everyone, even the elite QBs.

Yeah it depends if he is able to bounce back from it. Its the bad to average QB's that let a bad game/quarter affect them to where if affects multiple games afterwards. They just go into a long slump.

Even with the sack by Ferrell, I don't believe he's the answer to our thin DE room.

He's not

What da? He did good.

Purdy has done nothing to create any doubt. Lance and Darnold have created lots of doubt and continue to do so.
Why respond to criticism of Trey by trying to cast doubt on Brock?

Purdy had his fair share of bad plays, they just didn't result in INTs or a loss. That doesn't mean those plays don't exist and couldn't change if he keeps doing the same stuff. We're seeing it in TC. A lot of INTs and dropped picks as well. Hopefully it's nothing because clearly we're all in with BCB.

I agree Sam and Lance haven't proven anything. So I'm telling people to stop tossing out QB stats pretending they were amazing (without context) LIKE Sam last yr….unless you're gonna do the same s**t with Lance's stats yesterday…which if you looked at them they tell a different story then what we watched.

I debate with the same people all the damn time about context. Let's use it for everyone.

Purdy had very few bad plays last year, he performed like a top 5 qb when you look at his NFL work as a whole.

I am all for applying the same standards for all of the QBs and judging them on their bodies of work.

He looked fine to me also. Considering the raiders had very very few traditional dropback passes.
Maybe Kyle tries his best to lose Preseason games by putting his players in the worst possible situations to see how they handle it. Put their feet to the fire to see how they respond. Seems like the Raiders Coaches were doing everything to win that game and win it big.
Heard a few fans crying for Jimmy during the game lol.

Nice Montana, to be at the game. Seems like a really cool stadium.

Was actually kinda thinking the same thing. Wasn't sure if I was making excuses for our bad play or not tho. But it definitely seemed like the Raiders were trying harder and wanted to win more. Its hard to tell because we sucked so bad, but I'm hoping it was Kyle making things difficult on purpose.
I saw that player name is Troy Fumagalli for #88 Tide End. He is pretty good for blocking and good a catch the ball. I think Fumagalli is better than Ross Dwelley! So I will watch the 49ers next game is Broncos game. If Fumagalli is good play a game? Wait n see..

Fine is the correct verbiage.

I just don't think he'll have the impact we had with Ebukam or Omenihu, which is what I believe we need from that #3 DE spot.

He's not seeing it. They're bad throws because he's throwing late, without anticipation. That's something that should be better in his third year in the system.

Here's the reality as I see it. It's a Now league, and if Kyle had to play a game tomorrow that counted, Trey Lance would be his fourth and last choice at quarterback. I know you're invested, but that means there is no room on this team for him.

That should be better for someone with 30 starts in year 3 not someone with less then 5.

Even if I gave you that, there's no way in he11 we are ever going to throw away 30 starts and 3 years with this roster to get him, who knows where.

Brock got the he11 blitzed out of him against Miami when Jimmy went down, and made them pay. You've got to be quick.

We're just going to roll with our winner, and Trey is not going to play, whether we keep him on the team or not.

My boys Dee Winters and Jalen Graham looked like they should be backing up Warner and Greenlaw.

Also Ji'Aiyir Brown looks like the future at Safety.
Lol was so bored during the game, I was trying to figure out what Brock was snacking on..it was determined to be sunflower seeds lol. Then I was planning where I should go for lunch after the game lol.
I forget to add the one thing.. Ronnie Bell is doing great play for wide receiver and doing good job..
