It's like can't we just shake this guy? Even the first preseason game begins with Jimmy. It's a rain cloud that doesn't want to go away..
I don't think he plays a snap lol
I understand that. It's just the point the first team up is Jimmy related.
that is correct, the question is, who starts at QB, for SF? Do we know?
Not sure but look. Not trying to be a difficult fan but I prefer to see Trey out there. I stand by the fact that he has not been given a fair ride just yet in my opinion. I hope he lights it up. That said, I have become a heck of a Brock fan but some will discuss we need to see him for a chunk of the season to make a fair assessment. His winning stretch was quite awesome but they were showing some of the stats of the defenses played and other tidbits on NFLN and it could be argued that the Commanders has the best defense of that stretch of games and Seattle was no push over. Teams are going to be a little more prepared and some of the opponents a little tougher than that stretch of games. Seattle has improved in my opinion. Looks like it will be another Hag dual for the West.
I hope Brock kicks some ass but I am totally okay with the fact that down the road there maybe a QB on this squad not playing number 1 that will become superior.
No one can argue either way as it's an unknown. But it will be interesting to discuss throughout the season.
I posted this statline earlier on FB when there was some negative post about Brock saying he didn't play anyone.
He played WSH (4th), TB (8th), DAL (7th) and SEA (12th) ranked pass defenses. In those 5 games combined Brock Purdy averaged 68.2% completion, had 9 passing TD's, 2 rushing TD's, 1 INT, 9.1 YPA with an average passer rating of 115.1.
