Yeah, the game matters to Lance for sure, whether it's as a future QB or SF or elsewhere. The score is irrelevant, but the plays / drives / etc are not.

I just hate when guys like Lance playing for their career get injured in meaningless games. Injuries at anytime suck but preseason especially.

No game is meaningless. It doesn't matter whether you get hurt in the first pre season game or the 3rd regular season game. Injuries can happen on any play. Ask the plyers that are fighting for a roster spot if the games are meaningless. The results may be but to a few it's the difference between an NFL job or working at Walmart.
