49ers @ Raiders: What I saw after reviewing clips of the game

Thanks for your post OTC, you got a good point about Latu, everyone is just down on him due to that fumble. I'm sure he'll bounce back. Also not impressed with Myles Hartfield, I expected him to be a little better than what I saw with him having experience in Wilks defense.

I think worst case, he's the #4 TE. They'll let him settle in, and truthfully, I think we're gonna need 4. Our TEs tend to get banged up a lot here, just like our RBs.

Trying to focus on positives going into the next game, these are the arrow up guys I'm seeing:

CB Thomas, Parker

TE Dwelley

OL Manning, Fisher

LB Ball

S Hawkins

What's interesting about Ilm Manning, while his arms are only 32 5/8", his wingspan is 80 inches, which is roughly the same as Rashawn Slater, who some rate among the top 10 OTs in the NFL. Manning may have a shot to earn himself a role a versatile OT/OG player.

Just to add to the above ^

Man he was so rock solid. I hope he keeps it up because we need another viable option at OT out there.

jd's ability to transition from a football take to Manscape is nuts.
Hey. Did you forget about Troy Fumagalli and Ronnie Bell. They are doing a great plays. Troy Fumagalli was pretty good for blocking and good a catch the ball. Cant believe that Bell was solid for wide receiver!

Where's Ronnie Bell in the positives? Or Kinlaw in the negatives?

Was trying to touch on players that haven't already been discussed a bunch a already.

Kin was lumped in with the whole interior lol.

Good stuff OTC.

It's interesting that both guys Wilks brought over specifically in Oliver and Hartsfield didn't look good in the first pre season game.
