Dude they better not keep Zakelj!!! He was the worst O-lineman this training camp!!
Wtf
Got his own Webzone thread on August 17th. Cut on August 29th. Is this a record?

As for one of the highlight reels posted on Page 1, I saw a tackle get pushed five yards into the QB's lap. Our former RT, who was allowed to slip away in FA, was routinely crucified for allowing this to happen.

I think he will. He's an undersized T that's an unknown at G/C, where I think we will try to mold him into.

Miller still hasn't been cut.

Well now he is right after I typed this.

He ain't making it, sadly. That said, if he passes to the PS, he might be called up later.
Why won't he make it?

Call it a hunch.
Uh ok

NC was right again (sadly). Someday they'll prioritize the OL and talent.

Yeah, I still think they might have drafted an OLineman early this draft cycle if they had a 2nd rounder (it was used up for the CMC trade). I'm thinking they'd have used some draft capital to somehow move up to get a OLineman in the late first or early second. It was clear need going into the offseason. We'll see what happens before the trade deadline, and if we're up 7-1 recordwise, I can see them pulling a trigger on a trade to get them over the hump so to speak. Hopefully it will be for an OLineman.

i guess if you play the guessing game you will always have a 50/50 chance to be right

The FO got it wrong a million percent. They're going with physical measurables over pure ability to play.

It's an age old mistake and people never learn. I mean FFS look how long it took for them to give Brendel a chance. He did well and they kept trash over him for years. He finally starts and becomes a F***IN PRO BOWL ALTERNATE.

Manning performed even better than Brendel did when he was scratching for a chance to play.

It's baffling to me. I'm still pissed about this one.
If he doesn't make it to the practice squad
How TF they kept Pryor. Zakelj and even Moore over him is baffling.

At least Pryor and Moore had some positive plays later on in this preseason.

Zakelj was a penalty machine getting his a** whooped, and if I recall was doing the same in practice.

Yeah and Zakejl was the same last year too. No idea what they ever saw and continue to see in that scrub
