If this guy can develop to be a stud center, that would be amazing. Brendel is in his 30s and a solid player, but nothing special. I'd also like to see him at guard, he has that nasty streak.

i think worst case he can be like brunskill was for us, a solid depth player who had versatility.

id like to see him developed as a C over the next season or two (depending on how brindel plays), then we draft a tackle next year in the first round or so to groom for a year or two to replace Trent eventually (or potentially replace mckivitz if he is struggling).

then we can use guys like Brendel & Mckivitz as quality depth and have a much more sound top 8 o lineman.

Personally, any time a guy like Brendel or a guy like Manning can make the 53 - that to me is the equivalent of (at worst) a fourth round pick. Rounds 1 to 4 are starter quality picks, while rounds 5 to 7 are backup quality picks in general. Now Brendel made the 2nd team all pro, to me Brendel is verging on a first round value pick - in essence, and saved us (or benefitted us) a first/second round value that we could have used somewhere else like - maybe a Christian McCaffrey Trade.

When did he do that and how did I miss it?

Lol he didn't and you didn't. Think he means pro bowl alternate

"Ilm at 11"
Dude looks like he needs to eat a few burgers. I thought he was a TE in the huddle.

He's stronger than he looks. He doesn't get pushed around. I hope they give him the start at LT to see how he holds up against better competition. He's outperforming Moore and should jump him on the depth chart.

Moore and Feliciano are both turrible.
how did he do? I haven't seen the game yet

IMO still looked like the best player on the line among backup. Would have to re-watch.

I want this kid on the 53. Think about it (rhetorical think about it - not @ you). if we put any of the guys fighting for a roster spot on the PS think they would be scooped up for an active spot on someone else's 53? Moore, Poe, Zakeij, Watson, Maybe? I get that OL talent is thin all over the NFL but I don't think any of those guys get nabbed. However, I don't think we can risk putting Ilm Manning on the PS. I think he would get nabbed thanks to the 49er content creators who have done a really good job highlighting this guy.

I honestly think he's a OG

I think he would be great on the inside too, but I like that we're giving him OT reps, it's good to know he could play there in a pinch if absolutely necessary.

I don't think he's strong enough to play Guard in the NFL to take on someone like Christian Wilkins or Chris Jones.

I'm not sure there's more than 3 OGs in the NFL who can take on Wilkins or Jones.. He's a MANNING, he can get the job DONE..

Feliciano plays like Jose Feliciano.
