Man watching that, impossible not to root for the kid. Idolized Trent Williams since 6th grade. Sounds like he's got a great head on his shoulders too.

This. And specifically Moore needs to go. Still making a ton of mental mistakes in year 3. Can't have that.

This. Seems like there's been zero progress there. Would rather the team keep Manning and try to develop Fisher on the PS.
I'm excited for for him and fingers crossed that he becomes a strong asset for our team!

in the 4th quarter it seemed like Denver had sped rusher at RDE. My live impressions is that he struggled a little bit with that, did anyone else take a look at those plays and evaluate them?

He looks better than Moore and Pryor at OT, it's honestly shocking he's doing so well despite his lack of ideal physical traits. Absolutely ZERO chance he would clear waivers in this league. We'd be absolute imbeciles if we didn't keep him.

Agree 💯

how about putting him at RT this last game??

Would love to see that! Don't think it's biased to say that he may even be better then Mckivitz

I don't think its biased either. Manning has flashed so much potential at LT, that would it hurt to see him at RT, McKivitz isn't really standing out. But I think the less you hear of McKivitz the better.

I think McKivitz has shown more ability with his run blocking. Manning probably a better pass protector though.

That wasnt a random speed rusher

Denver was using their big FA signing OLB Randy Gregory and sending him against Manning

Broadcasters couldnt believe Gregory was still in the game that late

Manning looked good

I think the player Shorteous was thinking of is Nik Bonnito, a talented rusher who's finally putting it all together.

Bonnito gave Manning more issues than Gregory IMO. More of a speed rusher as well.

Adorbs
Kid has over 60 starts in college. He looks like it's not too big for him. Not sure if he's gonna maintain outside with that lack of length, but so far so good.
This guy has looked so good in pass protection but maybe that's just me being traumatized over the years that we have had average past protection aside from Staley and Williams.

Either way this guy needs to make the team over players like Moore and Nick Z. I hope he can eventually take the right tackle spot but would be great as our swing tackle
I always love the underdogs. And every year there's a dude like this. Oddly, it usually is an OL too. Remember Blake Hance? He's a G for Jax now. Brendel. Now, Manning.

It's too bad he couldn't compete with McKivitz but glad he may knock Moore off the roster. But unlikely. Foerster really seems to be pushing for Moore at LT and Pryor at RT. Hopefully we can keep him at G at least and knock Nick Zakelj off.

That speaks of tremendous durability, sort of like Burford and Brendel.

Agree 💯%, Brendel's been so durable (so far, knock on wood). Looks like ShanaLynch is finally getting the right balance on the O and D LInes. I.e. Talent on the DLine and Durability on the OLine.

Still need 8 Trent Willaims on our OLine squad though.

I wouldn't doubt it that McKivitz is better at run blocking. After all Hawaii doesn't run the ball as much with their Run-n-shoot or Spread offense.
