The problem for Trey is he was never given a chance/season to make mistakes and learn.

He was given a chance.

They gave him the keys. He unfortunately got hurt. But the narrative that they didnt give him a chance is false.

Trey hasn't silenced anyone. He has just played better than he did last week. He not anywhere near Darnold yet. He needs to improve a lot.

That was my thought too, but Sam looked good today also.
