Not yet he isn't. Darnold was throwing a lot better and more consistently today. Trey has played much better than last week but has still been doing some dumb things.

I think he has already pulled ahead and Kyle would probably laugh if he could as that decision was probably made weeks ago.

That was my thought too, but Sam looked good today also.

I don't think Trey is currently ahead of Sam. But Trey is helping his case. He's just too inconsistent.

If Trey does well here, AND does well in the 3rd and final preseason game, I'd say he has a shot at QB2. AGain, he's fighting for it now.

It's still a competition, no doubt. But I think Sam has the edge right now. He's more dependable
