Bell is a keeper. He fits this offense really well and has been good on special teams too.

Not sure how that effects the 53 man roster, but the dude needs to make the team.

When we get late in to preseason games...it is so easy to just kind of shrug at what is happening. You have too many dudes that will never play a meaningful snap of NFL football...but...When you got a dude that is moving the offense forward every time he is touching the ball...you have to keep him.... him also showing up on special teams makes an easy choice.
Moody perfect in game winning FG attempts :)

How great for Trey and Moody. Nice.

Throw Latu in there too

TDP also with the nice run at the end.

Confidence boosts all around.

F TDP

dude is a liability in pass pro

Agree with the rest tho

TDP sucks man. Did you see his legs on the setup play. Cmc or mason easily take that in for a TD. He's slow as s**t has no moves and can't block. He's not a bulldozer either so he's like a 4th string rb on a bad team. He's a dude you sign off the street in week 8 when all 3 of your starting rbs are hurt and you only have a rookie in front of him.

He certainly sucks at pass pro. JT O'Sullivan laid into him in last week's review. And it was BAD.

He tries to cut everyone and misses. He just falls facedown instead. Looks like he got sniped with the headshot.

He's just not fast or powerful, or have great vision. He's an NFL 3 yards per carry back. That's it.
Gould would have not made me all on that chip shot holy damn lol

Hate all you want and yes he had 2 or 3 wtf moments but he was more productive than Darnold was with his 3 three and outs and 1 score in 6 drives.

Darnold is clearly #2. Lance did shutdown any discussion that he might be replaced by Allen though so that was good for him.

I disagree. They picked Trey for a reason. They know.

They got a reset with Purdy. They picked Trey to start. Sam is better. Trey might be 3

I'm talking two. If we keep three who cares anyway. Kyle will stick in who he wants if god forbid something happens to Brock.
Lance holding the safety with his eyes on the TD to Latu was terrific

I'm telling you Trey just needs reps

He won't get them here without injuries, at least not this season. But he looked better than he ever had those last two drives. Steve Young said his problem was confidence, now that he's improved his accuracy (clearly on display today). If Steve is right, and he remains confident, and continues learning how to read defenses, he will be a good QB.

But will that be here? Probably not.

Oh I already know he won't see reps unless injury and if Purdy is the qb I think he is Trey won't see those reps here and unfortunately somewhere else. You can't expect a kid who has the fewest passing attempts coming into the league to be a quick finished product in a year or so especially when injuries has cost him as well. You can see the talent when he's on a roll and has confidence

It is pretty amazing how unrealistic and ridiculous the faux expectations of some are. He is way too green, even now, to be considered a finished product. It's insane. High schoolers have thrown more passes than him.

He showed today he has REAL arm talent, and that he actually DOES have some escapability. What he's shown prior to this, and may again, is that he is extremely inexperienced. Not only has he not seen a lot of defenses, he hasn't even ran a lot of offensive plays. Prior to this off-season he didn't even really know how to throw the ball. That's how far behind he was.

He may be too far behind to get there on this team. The injuries played a role in that. But I think he'll be a decent QB in the future at some point.

Can you imagine Moody at Lambeau 2 years ago in the playoffs ? I'm that frigid snowy weather.

He would've shanked that game winner to Milwaukee.

The Trey haters in the media now have to throw out the eulogy they wrote on Trey when he threw that pick. They are like "Damn I guess we won't be airing tonight"

Moody is going to be just fine. He's a young rookie guys who hasn't kicked in the league yet. Cut him some slack. Lol he has all the fixings to be the guy. Let's see how he does in the regular season before crucifying him lmao

Nah he started off slow. It wasn't until that second to last drive that he finally put the ghosts behind him.

Hopefully he keeps them there. Because if that doubt and hesitation comes back, he's going to be buried.

I think that's what most of us think, especially myself. I think once he gets about two years under him of playing - he will be a high end game manager. I don't see him being elite but I think he can play once he is more experienced.

I sure like him. I think the best bet is make him two and keep lifting him up to improve tradability. Trey is a good kid. Not a cocky ass. Very much like Brock. But maybe number of games played (Sam) will outweigh what could become a good thing.
