Warning - this is a ridiculous and petty post that probably indicates that I was dropped on my head as a child and likely have mental problems when it comes to football.

There was news today regarding Kyle Williams dad Kenny Williams, who was fired today by the Chicago White Sox. I grew up in Chicago so i liked/didn't mind Kenny until his son fumbled in 2011. I'm not celebrating someone losing their job (Kenny and his family are more than fine financially and likely better off than all of us). The news just brought up all these old wounds.

I was a much younger and dumber (or equally dumb in different ways) man in 2011 and definitely s**t posted on twitter to kyle williams account after the fumble. i'm pretty sure i got suspended a couple weeks for it. Although 11-12 years have passed and its long been in the history books, it still upsets me irrationally.

I've learned not to s**t tweeted players. They are human too, even if they make grade school mistakes like kyle williams did.

But since Kenny's name was in the news, i was brought back to horrible set of bone headed idiotic plays by kyle williams.

Anyhow, maybe this will break-up the doldrums of the Lance vs Darnold lunacy that is currently going on.

Should have directed some of the hate towards our offense.

1 for 11 on 3rd downs IIRC. Kyle's final fumble gave them the game winning field goal, but it felt like the Giants were winning the field position battle anyway. Props to Eli for making a couple of key plays while getting the absolute s**t beaten out of him throughout the game.

Also, Bradshaw fumbled.
Everyone always tryna bring up kyle williams

and here i am always tryna forget him

oh yeah Eli got hit so many times that game that even 9ers fans felt kinda bad. but that SOB kept on ticking and make enough plays.

agreed the offense was putrid, alex just couldn't muster anything at all.

it is perhaps too soon.
the loss to the NYG in '90 NFCCG was far more crushing to me personally.

i really should hate that team more than i do.

I have the 11 championship as the 3rd worst loss of the York era:

1. Ravens SB
2. 21 NFC title loss to Rams

all Harbaugh had to do was feed Frank. he tried to make his hand-picked boy Kap the star of that game. i'll never forgive him for that.

I honestly think Gore was gassed after breaking the big run to put us in position. That's why LMJ* took the only handoff of the series.

Oh well, the bigger issue was our defense got smoked for the bulk of the game. Our defense was not the same late in the season and in the playoffs. I think we dodged a bullet with the Falcons beating Seattle in the 2nd round.

agree THAT fumble was far more damaging as we didn't 3-peat.

had a TO in the pocket. just a poorly called final few minutes. typical of a Harbaugh team in a big game.

we ended that game with 1, maybe 2 time-outs left.

harbaugh was great at many things, but managing game was not one of them.

you gotta feed Frank in that situation. not throw 3 times to that craptree.

Where is KC loss? #4 and not #1/#2?

Meh, Flacco probably goes down the field again anyway. We would have been up by 3, at best with a 2pt conversion, and there was still plenty of time on the clock.
