we just gotta watch for those Pick plays

i apologize in advance for this
Can't wait for the boos when Darnold comes into the game - methinks they will be just as loud as the ovation Trey got when he came into the game vs the Broncos.
I can't wait for the cheers when Brock Purdy lights the league up again this season and is hoisting up the lombardi in February giving is our #6.

Better than letting your emotions root against the team.

I will never root against the team but that does not mean Kyle and his decisions are above criticism.

I've been a Niners fan since the Brody years and seen what it takes to finally make it past the Cowboy's to the superbowl. Kyle has maybe two years with this roster completly in tact. Let's see if he can do that.. if not, it's the Harbs all over again, close but no number 6. I remember when getting to the NFCC was not enough and we always won the superbowl. KS 10 and the org had made some really bad decisions where as in the glory years we only made a few. Hope it works but I'm skeptical with that waisted resource which should have helped our line. The light seemed to go on for Lance the last two series of the Broncos game so we shall see what happens. Hope we win it all and put this all to rest.

If Brock stays healthy he's a pro bowler this year.
Ronnie Ring my Bell is a 🔐 to make the team. I see slot all over, mofo needs to hang on to the ball tho

I started watching the niners in the 80s and was fortunate enough to see the glory years but it's not like mistakes were not made in those years. Trading Charles Haley comes to mind. I'm sure there were others but I was too young to remember. But I truly believe that since the salary cap era Kyle, John, this team/organization has been the best I've seen since those glory years and if the niners were to let them go in hopes of better things they better be real sure because I don't know of any better options out there, and even more how many other teams would be standing in line to get them.
49ers of the 80s/90s lost far more times in the playoffs (11) than they won the Super Bowl (5), so plenty of mistakes were made then as well.

Quick turnaround, we're only 2 days away. Here's a few things I'd like to see in this game.

1. OL Ilm Manning against the starters at LT and/or LG.

2. QB Allen get at least a full half of playing time.

3. DT Kalia Davis show us good ability to stop the run -- the majority of DL has stunk at this.

4. K Moody to kick better.

5. OL Alfredo Gutierrez - I want to get a better look at this guy, been in the system a long time and started with a long way to go, development wise, but Tim and Greg Papa have said he's really becoming a good player. He has no accrued NFL seasons so we can continue to keep him on the PS, and if he is really getting there, I'd like to see where he's at now. Dude is 6-9 332 and he got snaps at LT last year. His still years away, but it would be a fun story to see this long-term swing T project pan out.

Supposedly Chargers are very unlikely to play their starters so doubtful Ilm Manning is going to play against any of them. Also Jaylen Moore and Leroy Watson are probably above Manning on the depth chart at OT.

I don't know what to expect from Kalia Davis but I believe he was billed more of as a pass rushing 1 gap penetrator DT. I too am concerned about the ability to stop the run up front.
