Well they shouldn't forget he already suffered two major injuries in just 8 starts. Darnold and Allen are most likely going to play this year. That's just a strong likelihood based on the history of this regime and Purdy's proven fragility.

LOL at "proven fragility". He PLAYED with that broken rib and also PLAYED with that torn UCL. Kid has shown he's as tough as they come. That's all you can really ask.

everyone has injuries as the season goes on. lol its just a matter of if they can play through them or not.

Purdy couldn't play through the torn UCL. I hope he does stay healthy, but we also can't pretend like the 3rd string QB is a meaningless position based on the history of this regime.

If 49ers lose both Purdy and Darnold this year it'll be far more like 2020 than 2022. That's the norm when that happens. Last year was the anomaly. Just gotta hope it doesn't happen.

I've already decided that we aren't going to have any QB injuries this year, so we are good.
