Ashamed? No.
Do I feel we'd have at least #6 had they made better choices/decisions/prioritization? Absolutely.

Angry would better describe how I feel towards them right now, but all will be forgiven once Bosa takes the field.

You know what gets coaches and GM's "held accountable"? Wins and losses. Nobody gives a f**k about the picks we blew on Trey, other than the guys who got too emotionally attached to a player that hadn't yet earned it on the field. All this talk about accountability is straight up nonsense, if they don't win, then they will have to answer for it, but missing on a draft pick is not going to cause them to get fired when they have built a roster the quality of this one. The only folks calling for "accountability" are the Trey fans who cannot accept that the pick was a bad one, and want to blame somebody for the failure. Well, sometimes it just isn't in the cards, so you have to accept the situation, like adults do, and cut your losses. The inability to improve due to injuries, combined with a growing cap hit, is what did Trey in here, not anything that Kyle and John did to him. He would've been smart to do what Steve Young urjedAll this team did is draft him high above where he should've went and pay him million of dollars more than he earned. So all of this b******t talk about accountability, mishandling, and black balling of Trey is hyper emotional b******t from folks that need to grow up. The NFL is a bottom line business, you win and stay employed, or you lose and get fired. It is that simple.

I imagine GM NC building a line that would make the 90s Cowboys jealous

Just stop being a fan... easy as that.
Had one of the most depleted rosters and currently rank in the most injured over the past five years..... still made it to a championship game... With Josh Norman LOL. Made it again with half of a healthy team.
Truth is youre a sh*tty fan and dont understand enough about football to keep you from putting feet in your mouth. Prove me wrong. Teams that win the championship are the ones with starters standing upright during the games. Niners have done more with less than any team in this league and I welcome the debate on that.
I promise I will school you son when it comes to knowing football. I'm a sh'tty fan for asking for accountability? No you're a sheep for blindly following whatever the front office says. This team hasn't won ANYTHING since the 90's. But I guess y'all are good with just getting close to winning.
I'm still Superbowl or bust. You guys are good with just being competitive. Gtfoh
You're going to be hugely disappointed most years then, lol. That "superbowl or bust" s**t is nothing but offseason pablum for those who do not understand how hard it actually is to win it all. Vapid jock speech cliche for the uninformed and those ignorant enough to think it is a simple as just showing up for the games. Not even the team with the unquestioned best qb in the game wins every year. So that "Superbowl or bust" attitude is just utter nonsense to get the fanbases fired up, and will lead to disappointment far more often than paying off.

Kyle is indeed a dope
How could he give out inside info on something he obviously had so much trouble getting himself?

Hard to be ashamed when we've put a super competitive team on the field for last 5 years but that's our new generation I suppose.

Extremely unlikely he'd provide anything special that wouldn't be on film from the past or the first four weeks of the season.

I think it's more that Kyle and Lynch fall in love with certain prospects and everything else goes out the window.
Things to avoid drafting in the first three rounds:
-Guys with extensive injury issues and especially lingering knee issues
-Guys with very limited college playing experience
-RBs
-Kickers
-Guys from Stanford
-But seriously Kyle, no more RBs 😑
So you wouldn't draft John Brodie, Jim Plunkett, John Elway or Andrew Luck? How about CMC? Gene Washington? Stanford has produced a lot of good football players for a small private school. Unfortunately the recent picks by the Lynch regime haven't done well.
Nope

They way over paid to move up to draft him. Did not analyze their team's ability to wait and develop one of the most extremely raw qbs ever. And did a horrendous job getting value out of him as either a backup or from a trade. They did nothing correct with Trey Lance at all. They should feel embarrassed. And when he is developed in Dallas and becomes like a Josh Allen and facing us in the playoffs I hope they remember its their own fault for being pure s**t.
Another asinine take...this is the embarrassing stuff right here.

Pretty much universally viewed as the GOAT QB prospect.
I know you think he's overrated, but lol.
