I tried to explain this to my GF who hates football.

The FO should get criticism for the trade, but they should also get credit for finding Brock. Both the trade for Trey and finding a Mr. Irrelevant in Brock and have him put up top 5 QB numbers is incredibly improbable, yet both things happened. You can't make this stuff up.

If Brock looks like he did last year, we found our guy for the next 15 years.

That's all I wanted. Mission accomplished.

I wasn't a fan of Trey, but you NEVER EVER trade your players to a rival. We've done this before and it has bit us in the ass. Sure he's not the caliber of Charles Haley or a Deion Sanders, but I wouldn't want to see him giving Dallas brass inside info on our playbook.

Let me ask you this, what if Trey only got injured last year for a couple games. Brock came in and played great. Trey comes back and plays ok but not as good as Brock did and we still lose in the playoffs. Brock beats out Trey this off-season.

yeah I'm ashamed of a front office that built a top 2 roster in the NFL. Have they made boneheaded moves of course but folks here are crying as if we're early 00's 9ers horrific. This is the only organization that can f**k up trading 3 1sts for a qb, ship him out after 4 starts and still be a favorite to win the SB. If Purdy is as good as the organization and I think he is and wins a SB this will be a laughing moment

I am never embarrassed by others.

The front office has made this a respectable franchise that is a Super Bowl contender with a roster that is near the top of the NFL on both sides of the ball. They are doing a great job.
