Anyone else ashamed of this front office?

FO … no. Webzone posters and fans in general … yes.

If you want to be holding people accountable for a busted draft pick there would literally be not a single coach in the league.

I said what I said.

I love the zone

Bigger debacle than naming the DL coach HC.
I'm disappointed in what has happened, but not ashamed.

Nope
This is comical. Freakin fake ass fans can go.
Niners All Day.
Ashamed ? Not really.

Do I think they have to be held accountable for whiffing hard and squandering capital ? Yes, and if the duo never wins Niners a ring here, they will probably be remembered mostly by this trade and some great rosters which were always close but no cigar.

Ashamed though ? No. Very few GMs/coaches can keep their job after making such a debacle. That they are keeping their jobs is a testament to my opinion that there is nothing to be ashamed about.

I do feel bad for Lance on a "human" level, on a "it really sucks it turned out this way for you" level. Especially ironic after everyone saying Trey is in best possible situation for a QB out of any in that draft.

Nah. Tomsula farting during an interview is still tops.

When Purdy is injured again and we are stuck with Darnold and then Darnold plays like his usually s**tty self we will all think about how poorly the front office did their job with Trey Lance. They way over paid to move up to draft him. Did not analyze their team's ability to wait and develop one of the most extremely raw qbs ever. And did a horrendous job getting value out of him as either a backup or from a trade. They did nothing correct with Trey Lance at all. They should feel embarrassed. And when he is developed in Dallas and becomes like a Josh Allen and facing us in the playoffs I hope they remember its their own fault for being pure s**t.

So all the good happens to others teams, Dallas no less, and the worst outcomes with us. Totally rational.

It's the worst trade up in history of the niners , not of all man kind
No….. Charles Haley to Dallas is allot worse. Cost us a few SB's.

Not worst trade , worst trade up in the draft
It's hard to say I'm ashamed of our front office. They suck at first round picks, third round picks and QB development. By contrast, they find Pro Bowlers in late rounds, sign the best free agents, make solid trades and have built one of the top 5 rosters in the league. It's disappointing that they miss on on those early round picks because they should have had a couple of Lombardi's by now.

Dallas didnt lose 5 QBs to season ending injuries. The 49ers did last season. And the 49ers O-Line is worse this year. It is more likely than not that Purdy will miss games.
They know what sunk cost fallacy is. You have to give them that. It takes a lot to admit that.
