I hope this is the year and one could certainly make a great case either way.

Just seems we don't have depth in many areas. We don't even know who our nickel cb is, or our starting DE opposite bosa.

Now, maybe we have another purdy type horse shoe up our ass again this year in some of these areas but at this point we can only talk about what's on paper. We'll know soon enough!

I see on YouTube people have this game as the upset of the week and are picking the Steelers. I hope Steve Wilks and the defense is ready to wreak havoc, I'm frickin tired of hearing about Kenny Pickett, tome to put him in the corner!!!

I really think that the way Purdy is emerging, the team may finally have an offense that can get it done if/when the defense struggles. Just now coming to terms with the reality that Bosa may not be there, and even if he is, at this point they'll have him on a pitch count. Really foolish of them to do this with, IMO the MVP of the team, but this is where we are. Steelers may have an answer for Deebo, or Aiyuk, or Kittle, or even CMC, but not all of them. Purdy is about to get this party started!

I'm kinda worried Purdy won't have his go-to-guy in Kittle.

No Bosa AND Kittle its definitely gonna be an uphill battle!! But you're right, the offense may finally be the ones to pull through.

Which is odd b/c depth is usually the best in the league. I'd say roughly top 5 in starters but #1 in depth by a country mile. But that has dropped off some now too, to your point.

Either way, it's game time!

The MVP of the team still ain't a QB and we can't oh him as such. In the Super Bowl Bosa was held and negated down the stretch while Mahomes took over. He simply can't have the impact a QB can so we have to pay him as the DPOY and not as a franchise QB. I hope we've offered him greater than AD money and I hope he takes it
Paraag: "f**k them edge rushers."
This time next week will be the game :D!!

Definitely need both, but Bosa's play allowed the team to not only compete, but lead most of the game with Jimmy at QB. If we didn't have Bosa, we'd definitely need a Mahomes or Burrow at QB, but with him, Purdy's level of play will be enough to get us there. With subpar QBs, the team went to 2 SBs and had a great shot at winning both because of the D. Let's see how it goes with a top 10 QB.
Didn't the 49ers open up against the Steelers a few years back, have an awful game (like 5 turnovers!) yet still manage to pull off a win?

It was the Week 3 home opener in 2019, but yeah. I think this current Steelers team is better though

I was confident we would win last year against Chicago & obviously I was wrong…

This year I thinking we will lose to the Steelers, hopefully I'm wrong again!
Kenny Kenny..
I still see Brock as undefeated cause that last game wasn't really a loss to me. I mean it was but wasn't. Will this be the first game that changes the record? We will soon™️ find out.

I agree, think there should be a minimum amount of snaps taken for the QB to take it as a L. Hell, what if he took a shot on his first snap that concussed him? Still a L. Guess we just have to say he's won every game he finished, and hope he finishes all of them from here on out.
