I'm opposite. For some reason, I really believe in Brock. No way the last pick of the draft performs that well in a season and it was just a fluke. My only concern is Kyle not trying to put his 🐾 all over this and screwing us by idiotic decisions eg using Wish for extra points just because….

Im not sold on Pickett. I think we win comfortably 😁

I feel great about Brock and how the offense will perform. I think we drop 28+, Pittsburgh offense will have a hard time keeping up with that, IMO.

it's our defense and special teams that I'm uneasy about. Especially our run defense if bosa isn't in.
Perhaps no Bosa, iffy ST and chit kickers..but there is Wright, so. Not concerned at all lol

Yeah, our chances of winning are getting lower by the day.
A loss at Pitts though will make them hurry up to get Bosa signed at least.

I also disagree. Look at our first three games last season: @CHI, SEA, and @DEN. We had no offensive identity, our defense was playing well. Hufanga was our best player.

My point is Shanahan hasn't demonstrated an ability to start quickly. He seems to work into play calling shape as the season progresses. But if we want the #1 seed, we'll need to win these games, even if it's a bit ugly.

Last year is a terrible example and an outlier circumstantially.

So you're afraid of this?

How so? We've only started hot once in six years? And that was our #1 seed and easy path to the Superbowl. That was the outlier.

Man, predicting week 1 accurately is so hard. LOL. I have no idea what to expect but expect some wild s**t. That's for sure.
I guess the Steelers will prep like they won't face Bosa...

My heart says we blow them out. It makes too much sense. We have a much more stacked roster compared to them.

But I also align with the sportsbooks and the mobsters in Vegas. They know something we all do not. They have this game at -2.5 in favor of us and they might switch towards Pittsburgh by the end of the week. Alot of people picking the Steelers in this one. It's either bone headed or the Steelers leveled up this past off-season.

We seem to start seasons slow.

Or, outside of the Bay Area, Brock is seen as a marginal starting-level QB, similar to Pickett. And Pickett played well during preseason. Everyone has recency bias.
SUNDAY taking too longgg !! LETS GO !!!!

I listen to quite a few national radio broadcasts and most actually are a little reluctant to claim Brock is the future. They want to see more. The problem is that Brock doesn't jump off the charts when you watch him. He's efficient and runs the offense well but that doesn't command high praise from outsiders.

Yea but it's been -2.5 for a couple months now. This is without knowing Bosa wouldn't be signed by now and before Pickett's preseason.
