Pretty sure the 49ers are just going for two-point conversions, and any 4th downs in field goal range. I'm less worried about Bosa than I am watching our kickers hit unsuspecting spectators 10 yards to either side of the uprights.

Kyle is our coach

Its much more likely he'll line up Wishnowsky for 55 yard attempt on a 4th and inches with less than 2 minutes left in the game with the team down by 4…

Kyle is a p***y unfortunately
K&L look like scared mice sometimes lol

I unfortunately agree with this. I love Kyle as a whole, but he's soft on 4th downs. And even when he does go for it, it's usually pretty predictable like running Juice up the gut
Niners will smash the Steelers.

big day for our run game.
Geez you would think the steelers are some juggernaut the way some people are scared of them sunday

Kittle v Watt on a run play is a must watch battle.

I think they have won their last 8 or so home openers. Destroyed Burrow and the Bengals last season. Top that with the Niners always starting slow and now likely not having Bosa. Were not even sure we are going to have Kittle. Hell our starting kicker is questionable to play.

Alot of question marks. Likely no Bosa. Defense has looked mediocre at best in TC and pre season. No kicker.

It's the east coast bias

And pre-season with no gameplan or starters matters why?

And a history of not looking good in pre-season now matters why?
I think it could finally be a make or break year for Tomlin. I haven't looked it up but has it been like 6 years since they last won a playoff game? They have built a more than adequate squad and Pickett is more Brock like than not. They picked up an OLman from the Eagles didn't they? Their WRs are damn good and their defense is strong.

Not running scared but this is a hell of an open to start the season. Maybe a nice warmup at AZ would have been better? Or maybe get them out of the way early. It would be most helpful to have Nick and Kittle out there.

Tied with Brock for interest will be our DC. I don't know why I'm not feeling as strong with him as I should. If we win the first two I'll be feeling better about our DC.

Imagine losing that warmup at Arizona then having to travel to Pittsburgh

They're a talented young team, at home, with a winning head coach. The Niners are 2-4 under Shanahan on opening day. Tomlin is like 10-5-1. If there's no Bosa and/or Kittle and you're playing a 10am game on the road against Pitt....honestly, I'll be surprised if they win.

They have one of the top dlineman in the league.. one of the top pass rushers in the league...and one of the top safeties/playmaker in the league.

One of the better running backs who wouldn't be intimated by our defense, and some recieving weapons.

So yeah if we are not on point and we don't rattle Pickett early on, they have the playmakers to stay in the fight.

We have to punch them in the mouth first, before they pull a Colt McCoy James Conner game on us.
