Surprised by all the pessimism. Sure, the Steelers are going to be tough at home. But did y'all forget the dogs we're coming to town with? Also, we got this dude named Brock, who has never lost a game he had a functioning elbow. Let's go!

Yeah, I feel really good about it. Our starters are studs. I also refuse to believe that Jenny Pickett is going to carve up our defense. Lmao

True

I really hope moody is good by then. If we are missing PATs or 40 and less field goals, we will lose games because of that.

I think the Niners clearly have a more talented roster not even a question

However, the question is, they have had shaky starts the past few years on the road

Yeah but not with brock! So I'm going to assume he can get off to a strong start like he showed in the preseason. Until then, I'm not going to think he will.

True. But we didn't have Brock Purdy at QB to start those seasons either.

brock is the real deal holyfield, have full faith in him not to crumble on the road

I'm very confident our offense is going to do well, it's the special teams I'm really worried about. I'm a little concerned about the defense blowing coverages as we attempt more blitz than usual.

for the first time in a while, I'm much more confident in the offense.

my guess is that we score on 3 of the first 4 drives, then our defense can tee off and dominate pickett. We feast on guys like him anyaYs

I think we will win but I'm worried about our defense. New coordinator and he likes to blitz, deep throws have been our weakness and seems to be their strength.

i think our offense will ball on their defense, and we will win, but I don't expect it to be a cakewalk. Tomlin is a very good head coach and his team usually plays really tough, even in down years.

Uhhhh I don't think of Kenny Pickett as a deep ball thrower. Maybe I'm wrong

Usually the offense takes a few games to get going, hitting all cylinders. I don't see that with Brock. I think they are going to take on Brock's style of play. Humming right out of the gate. Brock looks like he's one of those guys that can willed his intensity of play at qb onto their team. Eager to see.

The O line still needs to give him protection. They haven't payed one game snap as a unit. Brock, Sam and Trey all had to bail out a few times in pre season because the pass protection kept breaking down.

I thought they played well last night, except Brendel on run blocking, add Trent to the mix and we are in good shape, the issue will be if someone is injured

O lines play better when they have time together. This O line had no time together in a real game. That could be an issue. We complained for years about McGlinchey but at least he was there every year and knew the system. He was also a very good run blocker which is important in this system. They may turn out okay but I'm a little nrevous about them. Even more so now that it's really on Brocks shoulders.
