I'm very confident our offense is going to do well, it's the special teams I'm really worried about. I'm a little concerned about the defense blowing coverages as we attempt more blitz than usual.

for the first time in a while, I'm much more confident in the offense.

my guess is that we score on 3 of the first 4 drives, then our defense can tee off and dominate pickett. We feast on guys like him anyaYs

my rule of thumb is if we can hold the offense to 20 or under, we should win, every time. with bosa back and hopefully hufanga isn't banged up, we should do it

O lines play better when they have time together. This O line had no time together in a real game. That could be an issue. We complained for years about McGlinchey but at least he was there every year and knew the system. He was also a very good run blocker which is important in this system. They may turn out okay but I'm a little nrevous about them. Even more so now that it's really on Brocks shoulders.

I'm nervous about our depth. Mckivitz has been here for years, he knows the system. Plus, we haven't used Trent much cause he's older but he's still the best tackle in football.

im not concerned about our starting o line. Plus Brock is quick with his feet and decisive with the ball. It's if someone on the line gets hurt is where I'm worried

i think our offense will ball on their defense, and we will win, but I don't expect it to be a cakewalk. Tomlin is a very good head coach and his team usually plays really tough, even in down years.

Uhhhh I don't think of Kenny Pickett as a deep ball thrower. Maybe I'm wrong

Brock looks like he's one of those guys that can willed his intensity of play at qb onto their team. Eager to see.

The O line still needs to give him protection. They haven't payed one game snap as a unit. Brock, Sam and Trey all had to bail out a few times in pre season because the pass protection kept breaking down.

I thought they played well last night, except Brendel on run blocking, add Trent to the mix and we are in good shape, the issue will be if someone is injured

What we don't want is a low scoring close game that comes down to the wire, which is what pitt wants. We want to score early and often, make them have to play catch-up so our defense can pin its ears back.

I'm a big moody fan but I don't want to depend on our rookie kicker to win it.

our special teams has been awful this pre season, like terrible, and it's going to cost us some games this year - watch.

The kicking has been poor but coverage units have looked damn good to me.

Yeah but punting has been bad, missing FG, missing PAT, muffin punts (missing our top returner). That will screw Us in a real game

True but none of the starters got a lot of playing time.

Exactly. I'm much more confident with Brock in there. The only thing that worries me is Kyle calling the plays like Kyle eg asking Wish to kick FGs after TDs just because….

Im super concerned about our special teams. Wish's punts have been horrible all pre season, can't ask him to kick if we aren't at the 40 or so, otherwise it's a bad punt.

Hopefully moody is healthy by week 1, has two weeks to get ready.

id like to see Bell as the returner, and mainly just fair catch everything.
They got this returner Calvin Austin #19 whose fast as hell and with our sorry ass ST he can be a problem

So your argument went from "no time" to not '"enough time"?
