I'm interested to see if Kyle is going to be a bit more aggressive on 4th downs this year, especially with a QB he seems to trust more than any other he's had here. A silver lining to questionable kicking could be forcing his hand in 4th and short situations on the other side of the field.
I think there is a good chance he goes for more 4th downs because of kicking, depending on the field position. I actually wouldn't mind him being more aggressive in that manner. We have the talent to do it

Rams won the SB with Jalen Ramsay and 5 dudes who had no business starting in the nfl in their secondary and lb core. 9ers backups may have weakened but the Rams had multiple garbage starters. Had to bring Eric Weddle in for the playoffs it was so bad.
Rams MVP in the NFCCG was jimmy g

He and Purdy will probably be the two good QBs of their year.

Those 2 , Ridder , Howell , possible Zappe are only starters from that draft . We spent the least draft capital

Pickett was a super experienced QB from college too. He was a 3-4 year starter, he didn't play nearly as well as Brock did. Just to point out that experience in college wasn't the only reason Brock balled.

Big test for Mckvitz and the run defense. Won't be easy game at all. Pickett has looked sharp

Both teams will be hurting after the game. Steelers have some quick and big receivers and a hard hitting defense. But we also have a wrecking crew D and a nightmare Offense so let's see what happens. Kyle just doesn't have a good record in season openers. Going to be a good one!!! Go Niners

I'm hyped boys! I can't wait for the season to start. I'm one of those guys that doesn't get worried or scared unless the team shows it. I think our offense is going be badass this year, no reason to doubt it at this point, new QB to start the year that's been amazing.
defense is the reigning #1 defense with the reigning DPOY (get him signed). So I'm not too worried about them, just worried about blown coverages while we blitz more than we have.
soecial teams is my only worry but I'm hoping Brock and the boys cover that up with touchdown drives and converting fourth downs, If kyles feeling risky!
i seriously can't wait and hate that it's two weeks away. This is our year, baby! I can just feel it! dirty Purdy is about to make history!

Eh, as much as I hate to admit it, Trent Williams should have sat that one out. He wanted it so bad, and I respect that, but was a HUGE liability. Jimmy sucked too.

Steelers will hurt MOST. Can we keep that streak going where every team we play loses the following week? Did we set the record, or does it still need work?
Heinz Field is notoriously difficult for kickers... hopefully it doesn't come down to a Moody kick.
That stadium opened in 2001 yet it will be just our 3rd trip there. I recall the loss in 2015 in the Tomsula season.. they ran up the score on us.
