IIRC, Hufanga had some issue with his knee coming into the season and I wonder if this just pushed it over the edge.

That's the risk you run in drafting a player with a injury history. He's a 5th round pick from 2021, the *money* round for ShanaLynch. He's been a good player for the last two years and decent for the first half of this season. If it's a serious injury, a complete tear, his career might be over, sad to say. I felt this same way when Jeff Fuller's career ended with that permanent spinal injury that paralyzed half his body (or something like that). I hope Huff just has a bad sprain. Please Football Gods!
An ACL injury isnt close to the same thing that happened to Fuller. In this day and age players come back from ACL injuries

Idk if folks listen to that dr. Chao guy but when the bakers cyst was announced he basically predicted his ACL was next. It was bound to happen and now the underlying issue will be repaired.

I knew it. I remember reading about that issue coming into the season and wondered if this was related. Sure enough. Bummer. But glad it'll all get cleared up now.

I wonder if this signals both Banks and Burford are out? One of them?

Furthermore, the 49ers have activated offensive linemen Jesse Davis and Corey Luciano from the practice squad through standard elevations.

I hope not!! Please let Banks be healthy enough to play!

Seriously!

Early Christmas Present for all

Huge upgrade? Idk about that.

That's as good as we've got for in-house talent, that's for sure.

Marginal is better than none, just trying to keep reasonable expectations.

He predicted a meniscus, was this the same knee ?

I love Huff as a player, but I'd be looking for depth and help at the Safety Spot in the next draft. Jaiyer held up well in Seattle, but Eagles might torch him in the next game. Hope Huff can come back 100%, but those college injuries - you take the risk that a talented but injured player can't stay healthy long term. <sigh>

Now posted at the top of the page.
My father tore his biceps and never had it repaired. He was near retirement and went on disability. It never bothered him except if he tried to lift anything heavy. Then it would just ball up like a baseball. Of course my father didn't play football.

Well next Father up for you then. Hope the next father is as good as your previous father.
