- TE Cameron Latu (knee)
- RB Jordan Mason (foot)
- WR Ray-Ray McCloud (hand)
- K Jake Moody (quad)
- CB A.J. Parker (hamstring)
Talanoa's injury bothers me, I get the feeling it's (sooner or later) going to turn into a Dee Ford knee situation. I remember Kittle getting a torn Rotator cuff a couple of years ago, and I suspect that - it's still bothering him. Cartilage tears don't heal, as far as my amateur medical knowledge goes. Patrick Willis retired early because of a foot injury that didn't heal. All the others, seem minor injuries though. That's the good part of the news.
It was a torn labrum not the rotator cuff. Sorry I had the same thing happen to me so it's near and dear to me from an educational standpoint 🙂. My dad had his rotator cuff torn at the same time. He did the surgery, I didn't. The recovery time is about the same for both. Six months. You were right about the cartilage part though. Since I didn't do the surgery my shoulder tried to heal itself and it's costed me a bunch of strength in my right shoulder as a result. It's a pain in the *ss. I should have just sucked it up and got it done.
Agree, it definitely was a cartilage injury, and yes you are right.
I'm against surgery in general because of all the potential negative consequences - but in this case with Kittle, if it can extend his career and also strengthen that shoulder, for me, it would be worth it. He's fighting through it, but maybe that's another reason Kyle drafted two tight ends this year. who knows.
