Isn't that the same crappy turf, Nick Bosa tore his ACL?

Last year, I don't know which game, but DeeBo got a serious knee sprain, but could have been a torn ACL but for the fact that the game was played on grass. I truly belive that grass saved Deebo last year from a season ending injury. He was out for a couple of weeks due to the knee sprain and came back in time for the last couple of games and the playoffs. Thank god Jed installed real grass at Levi stadium.

Yesterday on the Pat McAfee show he was talking about some new turf that's being developed that is supposedly better that grass, as far as injuries go. Didn't elaborate on how fling before it may be used, but with the league this dialed on trying to prevent injuries, I hope there is some truth to it.
Can we all just appreciate that for once, one week we're fully healthy, no major injuries, just Latu on IR for the season, Beal & Gray on short term IR, no starters lost for the season, if we can stay healthy, not lose many, if any big name/starters, we should go the entire way IMO.
We're not used to seeing this kind of great news after week 1!

Yup, time to call someone up from the practice squad. Maybe Q. Knight.

Yeah that's what sucks even more is he was probably a top 2 or 3 special teamer.

He'll be back this year though but loses momentum. No surgery so that's great.
