But honestly, I do not think they are wrong. For better or worse, our window, which it feels like we are trying to pry open, is closing. Maybe not as fast as the doom and gloomers like to think, but perhaps at a pace where we certainly will see the names on the back of the jerseys changing at a steady clip.

I love this quote from Trent:

"Super Bowl is at the top of everybody's priority list right now," Williams said. "Worrying about when the window closes really does nothing for us right now. It's like worrying about when you're going to die. It is going to close eventually, but what's the point of looking forward to it?"

If Purdy can progress every year, our window is at its infancy

I think this season and next will be prime opportunities to win a SB. A lot can change in one season so it's hard to predict anything beyond that.

Truth, but a big IF.

I agree. This is why you need to keep drafting well and pray for good health.
The window can't close until we win the SB in Santa Clara in 2026
I think the window is this season and next.
Barring any big injuries, this coming year definitely seems like the biggest the windows been open since we lost at Hard Rock Stadium. Mindset should be take advantage of the opportunity that is here and don't take it for granted.

1-2 seasons and then we're basically the Rams of this season.

Def won't be the rams

Window isn't closing anytime soon
All this restructuring is just delaying the inevitable- cap hell
Being a top heavy team implies eventual salary cap hell and very polarizing roster (all-pros and rookie contracts). This is why the draft picks are very important these days, and they can't afford to waste them on kickers and IR redshirt TEs in the third round.

The Rams went all-in and succeeded and now they have similar roster issues that loom in the future. I'd rather have a ring to show for it than have an extra year or two of relevancy after cap scorched earth inevitably makes some talent leave.
Nothing will top the 2015 mass exodus/retirement hell ass-r*pe of the fans

This. And a lot will depend on the development of Purdy being the long-term franchise QB. If he doesn't, then we may be looking at a regime change as well.
