1981 SB, one of the best goal line stands by a defense in SB history! That was a great game and we partied and my truck got destroyed on 24th Street and I gave most of them a high five and bought a few rounds for both bars. Bob Sinclair Liqour store was right down from us. Good times I'll never forget.

No, this isn't it for our window, we have a great chance to win it all this year though, we;'re really all in, brought Hargrave in, extended Bosa, redid deals, but as for 2024, just extend Dre, AA, & Ward and save $27.668M, redo Deebo saves over $15.8M, that's over $43M saved, we'll be fine in 2024 and beyond, Aiyuk will get extended, Huf probably too.

Now will we lose players? Of course, Lenoir, Mitchell, Jauan(in 2025), Burford or Banks, Burks, McCloud, etc... will all be gone, we've drafted many of these guys replacements IMO over the past 2 yrs, plus we have Gipson's successor in Ji'Ayir Brown.
We'll be good 2-3 yrs. Then they there will be some players leaving. All depends on our drafting and the youngsters that are rookies this year and last year. We shall see.

you are reading too much into this lol I like Mike tho his dad had a history with SF, I thought the suit was pretty cool and he did good media. I think that first game too somehow he pulled it out with some gutsy calls like a surprise onside.

Under current ownership….I don't count Mooch's last playoff hurrah 2001-03 as he was hired under Eddie D.

Players come and go. If you have a blueprint and a strong reputation the window doesn't close for a long time. Look how long the Patriots kept the window open.

Agreed....even with the Chiefts...they had to make a tough decision and move on from Tyreek. Then they go on to win the SB. I hope Aiyuk can be kept long term but if not, we'll address the position.

We can't keep everyone.....there will be guys let go....but I think we can sustain this especially if Purdy is real.

those two teams literally have two of the best to ever throw the rock lol...

Had he paid more attention to the team and winning than he did how he looked I may agree with you. I thought it was a clown move to make it all about him, though.

it wasn't all about him, he just wanted to have some class and honor his Pops
but here were are having Nolan debates
The current Niners only came together mid season last year with CMC and Purdy.

It's just getting started.
IMO, the window is 2023-2025.

In 2026, Trent Williams is probably gone and Purdy isn't on a rookie contract anymore so a different window.
