What are we going to do with the 41 million (!?) we have in cap space?

3) midseason trade for a starting CB wit a team who is out of contention

The way the team looks at this moment, they could just give us the trophy now. We have yet to see how this O line performs though, and an injury to any of the core players could be a serious setback, so if there's going to be a mid season trade, it would probably be due to an injury or an O lineman underperforming.

Just look at last night's game. The Chiefs were missing Kelce on offense and Jones on defense. Their biggest weapons. It's why I hate the cap. You can't build a lot of depth because players that are good enough aren't going to sit around and be backups and not get paid. They move on and are replaced by lesser players of draft picks.
Every team is subject to drop from the top to not making the playoffs with a couple of key injuries.

In gthe Niner's case what would happen if Brock gets hurt after a few games and CMC goes down for the season Maybe Williams gets hurt and the O line is vulnerable. On defense what would happen to the pass rush is Bosa gets hurt. Maybe Warner goes down for a few games. The entire season could change if any of these players gets hurt. The NFL is as much about health as it is about quality and coaching.

I call it stupidity. I say that because they are the only league that doesn't have a developmental league of some type. Don't say college because they can't send players back to college for more seasoning. If they could they would still have Lance. The practice squad leaves players vulnerable to being taken by another team. The billionaires seem to care more about making money than they do about developing players.
How can we know our cap space if we have no idea how bosas contract is structured?

Let them worry about that. They way they maneuver these days it's hard to keep track. Seems like every day someone's getting restructured.

I wish I could get my body restructured.

This isn't going to be popular nor do I like this myself...but Kirk Cousins is a possibility... especially if Brock goes down and Kyle realizes Sam aint it.

He might not be wrong.

I can't see them going dline. We have most of our cap against the d line already. Don't get me wrong, having another game wrecker opposite bosa masks a ton of other issues, but I doubt that do that.

More likely this space probably lets them keep their players as others have said. I mean if I'm Huff and Aiyuk I'm already getting positive vibes knowing they will probably make a very strong offer financially while keeping it obvious that they are trying to keep the guys together etc.
