Dude power slap is wild 😝
I prefer cornhole competition or pillow fight, we don't want any concussions

👁 uk if I'm choosing between the 2. Divabo got paid because of how Shanny uses him. In any other offense he's not the same player.

They really do. Hopefully BA doesn't want Jefferson type money.

Aiyuk got wide open in both man and zone coverage against the Steelers on the all-22 tape. He can get open on any play. He made the throws very easy for Purdy.

That first TD Brock moved the safety in the endzone to his left with his eyes which gave Aiyuk even more separation on the play. No one in the mainstream brings that aspect of Purdy's game up. Not taking anything away from Aiyuk because he is clearly our #1. Just trying to squash this narrative that Brock is only good because he has nothing but wide open easy throws. These targets are wideopen alot of the time because he is so great at manipulating coverages with his eyes.

The first TD was also Aiyuk doing a quick cut that broke Patrick Peterson's ankles which got him wide open. Here's the all-22 tape.

Notice how Aiyuk creates separation when he's in man coverage with top corners covering him. He creates separations on outs and slants and curls. The separations that he creates make the throws very easy for Brock. All of the Aiyuk's receptions except for that last TD (and another nice one where Purdy zips it into tighter coverage) was him being wide open due to how he quickly separates from the defender and finds open space.

They are such different players at this point. I love how Deebo and CMC are like the inverse of each other. Aiyuk is turning into a spectacular straight-up WR. This conversation would have looked weird just a year ago or so.

Never said he didn't. But also watch how Purdy is looking left just before he fires the ball into the endzone. Aiyuk most certainly beat PP but if that safety wasn't moved off that spot with Purdy's eyes, that pass is nowhere near as open.

If I had to choose I would only trade Deebo & a 1st round pick to move up to draft Marvin Harrison JR from Ohio State. Otherwise keep them both until you have to do something because of salary cap.

Very different kind of receivers. They compliment because each is a better weapon depending on the defense they are facing.
If it's a man-to-man defense, Aiyuk will get open at will and make plays, as we saw against Pittsburgh.
But if they face a soft zone, Deebo will get wide open and then truck secondary players for Deebo kind of plays.
Aiyuk is the best pure receiver but Deebo has some skills no other player in the league has.
Lets enjoy the duo while it's affordable to keep them together.
