Just look at this week as a home game

to your point SD I don't like it either, 20 games is the standard, and it will go to 18 regular and 2 preseason

18 regular and 2 preseason would make more sense. I hate this odd number of games. It's unfairness built right in. Just a really bad system.

Again this isn't about the Youtuber's analysis...just if some want to see every pass play.

Good find!

Agreed.

What is 9ers4eva assessment on this game?
didn't you have Pitt above our OL ?

In all due respect on the zone..The right side of the o line was the only weak spot on this team against Pittsburgh. Hopefully it starts to gel and get better.

where have you been when all this was talked about. It rotates every year. last year and next year we have 9 home games

That's fine. I'm just not at all a fan of odd number of games. It should be EVEN. 16 or 18. Some team has an advantage fighting for home field advantage. In a year where you have 9 home games. Vs a team that doesn't have that same advantage. It's just an unfair system IMO.
the league is just setting us up to go 18 games a year

McKivitz still has an opportunity to get better as the season goes on, I wouldnt just label him another mike mcglinchy just yet

Agreed. As a fan I love having more football but also understand the trajectory where football season is going won't be sustainable on the football players bodies. So the NFL will continue to soften its product so we can have more games.

Coaches always say tc practices and joint practice give them better evaluations than preseason games

Cause the guys who have great performances in the preseason games doesn't matter cause the practices are all that matters. Ask Jamison and Manning if the games actually matter.

Also, its crazy that these owners aren't mandating natural grass fields where its possible. Why would you want your star players increasing their risk of injury by playing on the fake stuff?

I never said they sucked and I don't think the decision maker Kyle would ever say that about a player.
