49ERS at RAMS Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 2

The line makes me a bit nervous, being huge road favorites. But it's not really the road (65/35 Niner fans + red jerseys) and against an opponent we dominate regularly. Just win and no injuries. We have a short week after.

Yah I'm not impressed, it looks more like s**tty coverage than Nacua beating his man.

that's Mark Sanchez' boy

He's literally a rookie in his first game and he has 10+ catches and 100+ yds… that's damn impressive

Yeah seems silly to downplay that type of game. He could've had a few more too btw. Hopefully our players aren't overlooking anyone on that team. We lost to the worst team in the NFL last year when it was all said and done. In 2019 we went on that crazy run of games vs Baltimore, Saints and GB and went 2-1 in them and then came home after the huge win vs the Saints and took an L vs the 4-9 Falcons at the time.

You know McVay desperately wants to break that regular season streak to Kyle and show he can rebuild, he'll be pulling out ALL the stops. We better be prepared and ready to ball and play smart football.

Trap game for sure, just like week 1

I see what you're doing there and I'm digging it!

I just want that week 1 feeling on repeat all year. Big W, no injuries. Let's go!!!

lets goooo

Check out my Preview here for the 49ers vs Rams Game in Levi's South. The Rams shocked most people destroying the Seahawks in week 1 so we can't overlook them, I expect Stafford to continue to take shots down the field looking for Atwell and Nacua. Discipline from Mooney and Lenoir will be key to the defense getting stops, as well as the d-line dominating.

Can't wait to see what Kyle has drawn up on offense, last couple times in LA we have seen Deebo and CMC throws TDs. Curious if we see something similar on sunday haha.

Rams are gonna need a few thousand of these too…to balance out all the Niners fans on Sunday:

Yeah, local radio guy who lived in LA for ten plus years said there are not real Rams fans there thus why always the takeover. LA is about mom and dad taking the kiddies to see SOFI, in awe of stadium during game, taking selfies showing look we are at SOFI. Ask them an hour after the game what the final score was and they couldn't tell you.

Looking forward to the immersion of red taking over.

I'm as superstitious as the next guy but let's be honest...the line doesn't mean jack sh*t nor do the predictions by the pundits.

We're the better team across the board. If we let their two stars beat us then that's a fail on our part, not success on theirs.

If we play smart football we're winning this game regardless of the line.

I think the Rams will cover the spread for their moral victory

I agree, I think Deebo is going to have a big game this weekend. Rams will try to stop Aiyuk, and Deebo will shine. No TJ Watt on the Rams. McKivitz handled Donald well, I think, the last time Donald lined up against him at Left Tackle. Rams had a ton of difficulty handling CMC, I don't think that will change.

Im struggling to think of ways the rams could win this game. Could they get a few scores on us? Sure sure.

Could they hold us to under 20? I find that really hard to believe

Anything is possible of course but assuming we avoid injuries the only way I can see that happening is if we're simply incredibly sloppy on both sides of the ball.

Its the NFL. Literally any team can beat any other team in a given game. Maybe they only win 1 out of 10 matchups but it can happen.
