Lol, I was 7 years old the first time they won the Super Bowl 😎👍

No title since '94

pretty crazy

Same here. I feel like the two super bowl loses hurt the younger generation more than the guys who have seen Super Bowl wins before. All we've ever heard about is how amazing it is and all that, yet all we've ever seen are worst records in the nfl or almost winning them super bowl. Unfortunately a lot more horrible seasons than closer ones.
I think 89 was the first super bowl i can remeber

So was i. Hahah i was like 18 months old when the super bowl happened in 94, so obviously don't remember it. By the time I really started watching football, around 9-10? They went on like a 10 year abysmal streak. Lol

so it was from 2002 (3rd grade or so at the time) until 2011/2012 when they had their first winning season. So I other words from 3rd grade to post high school, niners didn't have a winning season. Haha it was rough ridin. I think that's why it seems where a lot of guys in my generation didn't mind jimmy so much, he was the best we had really seen. Where as if you witnessed Joe montana or Steve young, that would be like watching Tom Brady and then Derek carr. Not a bad QB but not an ideal drop off. Lol two different classes of qb.

Forty Whiner fans living up to the moniker. Lucky you guys aren't Browns, Minnesota, Houston, Arizona, Charger, ...You get the picture. My Dad was a Niner fan from day one. never won a title in the Fifties, Sixties, or Seventies. We had (me, Dad, and my brother) season tickets from the day they hired Bill Walsh. He went to high school with my Mom. We were at the 'Catch" game in 81. When we got home my pops said he wouldn't be going to any more games. His team had finally won "the big one." This team , as now constructed, has been in the thick of the trophy chase every year. Be thankful you've got something to root for come playoff time. It isn't a lock. My Mom was a Giants fan from the day they moved from NY to SF. She never saw them raise that World Series Trophy, but that didn't stop her from rooting for the boys right up to the day she died.

It makes us whiners because we've never experienced a chip and am unhappy with that? Or should be greatful that they won 30+ years ago the most recent time.

or should we be grateful that the niners have had a losing record over the last 20 years?

you sound so ridiculous when you say we should be grateful to not be a team like the browns when we are essentially in the same boat over the last 25 years - both have 0 championships. Just like the browns win 50 years ago.

"oh no! We are so much more dominant and better cause we won 30+ years ago and you won 50+ years ago". Like who gives a f**k at that point? It's a joke to be proud of losing in every important game over the last 25 years or so.

this is not towards you

i don't care about the whiners, it does suck. What i don't like are the fake fans who bash the team/players/org and drag the 49er name through the mud.

Football isn't an easy sport and winning is pretty difficult when you play one game in the playoffs.

If you can't handle the 49ers at their worst, you don't deserve them when they are at their best
saw the Pat Haden Rams beat the 9ers at the stick in 76 under Monte Clark

saw the saints tie the 9ers 20-20 in 1970 at Kezar under Nolan Sr. with John Brodie under center

Honestly, those 2005-20010 years were some of my favorites.

I liked watching us build a roster, and I felt more relaxed with lower expectations.

Both Superbowl losses, the loss to the Giants, Seahawks, and Rams were really hard on me and a lot of other "young" fans.

Of course, you want your team to be good, but it's definitely more stressful when you haven't seen your team win it all like me.
