at least St.Louis supported them during the Greatest show on turf days, with them back in LA it seemed like everyone forgot about their Super Bowl win 30 seconds after the fact.

Its a Laker and Dodger loving base. Rams are in the friendzone.

I have met maybe four Rams fans in my lifetime. One doesn't count cause it was a casual, superbowl only watcher, who probably couldn't name one player lol. So, I guess three fans.
Niners better win tomorrow given the talent disparity...

If not

I live in DC...never met a ram in my life
My cousin my same age and also a San Jose native was a Rams fan since 1970 which I could never understand.

He ended up moving to Huntington Beach after college, so he can be forgiven.
Lol it's so cool that our fan base travels so well. We took over Pittsburg last week and will take over Levi's south tkmorrow!

lol helps ease the difficulty of the 49ers facing two away games in the first two weeks of the season. Cool aweskme

All of the rams fans I ever met, which I believe is one, went back to be the time the rams were LA based (before the move to St. Louis).

lol I grew up in California but obviously LA doesn't have a strong fan base, since of time they've had a hard time keep a team - in a major market. For whatever reason it gets harder as you go south to San Diego.

i think the raiders won 2/3 of their Super Bowls while being based in LA too. I've met a lot more raiders fans than rams fans in SoCal. Which is why I was a little surprised they chose San Diego chargers to take over an LA spot but raiders seem to have strong marketing no matter what, they're doing well in vegas.

The NFL teams like the Raiders and Rams were in and out so often it made many so cal sports fans bitter and cautious of supporting a team that may pick up and leave again. They have the sports version of daddy issues.

It definitely did. I've recently mentioned how I always liked the Steelers as a second fav team because a close friend of mine growing ups family loved them.

when I asked their dad why he liked them so much, he said it was mainly because the raiders abandoned its fans with a move and he didn't support it.

honestly the move to Santa Clara kinda bothered me. So I def wouldn't be okay if they moved to Las Vegas

Well at this point, yeah. Lol I probably stopped paying attention to the Steelers back in 2008-2009 or so. It was just fun watching the Steelers games with their family because at least they were competing for chips.

i typically don't even watch any other football game besides the 49ers game. Maybe a prime time game, but I don't sit and watch it,I'll just have it on and if it gets good - I'll pay attention. I don't care about any other team unless it impacts the niners anymore.

when I was a kid, I'd watch every game possible. I just loved it. Now it just feels like a massive waste of time.

Hahaa Eff that. I've been by the niners sides too many years and no championships. They had been steeler fans since before I met them. I really started watching them on Sundays with them during big bens rookie year, they were devastated in that AFFC. Hahaha

anyways Eff the Steelers! We beat the brakes off of them last week and are going to annihilate the rams and Stafford. Im too excited. T minus 15 hours
