Houston could be a team that comes on late in the season. They have some nice players and didn't quit fighting despite getting blown out early.

But the Cards? Yeah they're screwed.

Cards have both picks anyway.

Sloppy win but talent won out there
Did Mitchell Play?

That o line is good. Didn't even allow a rush or suck until they played us. They held up really well. Give credit where it's due, kudos to that o line for being good

They also threw quick a ton. Not a lot of holding the ball. The few times they did the pass rush effected things. Coverage is the issue at moment not the d line.
Rams have some real good young talent and played hard. I thought we were clearly the better team but couldn't get a stop.

losing Aiyuk was big too. It was one of those games where whoever turned the ball over would lose.

Yeah, Stafford is really good at getting the ball out. It was easy since we left the underneath wide open all game. Our blitzes weren't doing anything. Which is what I was scared of. Those take practice and that usually comes in ineffectiveness.

Still number 2 in West. Let's stay humble. They showed a good game and most certainly provided a blueprint to the league.

As a fan it was pretty frustrating at times but at the end of the day this was a very good gutty win.

True. Purdy tried his best, and he did what he had to do.

Even the juggernaut '94 Niners had gritty close wins (@Detroit, vs Dallas, vs Rams) in the regular season. This is what helps you keep pace in the race for the #1 seed. W and no big injuries are the ultimate stat at the end of the day

Stafford with 55 pass attempts. Wow.
I just assumed the Rams Oline did some holding that wasn't called.
Felt like a much improved performance by McKivitz
Obviously, you have to win the game that's in front of you. Whatever.

In the end, what really matters is if you can beat Dallas and Eagles in the regular season, and get home field advantage.
Then come the Chiefs or Bills or Ravens.

Every game has to be evaluated against those teams.
