SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at LOS ANGELES RAMS - 2023 Season Game 2

Sounds like Brock when through his read and found Deebo but overthrown.

Sounds like Aiyuk will play on Thursday!

What did he injure?

One of the sideline reporters said they were working on his neck for most of the game.

Was afraid it was a collarbone at fist…prob a neck stinger. f**k artificial turf stadiums

I was worried about the same thing, on the early play where he went down and stayed down. But I went back and watched it, and his shoulder didn't hit the ground on that one. He seemed to have been hurting from the play before it.

2-0, 2 road wins.

One dominant performance. One uneven.

Lots of fans worried about a slow start coming in to the season. We're pretty healthy through two weeks and in very good shape.

And if they can get through Thursday with a win and minimal loss injuries, then they get an early mini bye.

At least we got to enjoy 1 week as #1 in the Power Rankings.

Yeach, thats important. At the end of the year, the Coaches will get to vote on the Super Bowl Champion too.
The Rams just seem to play us like this these past couple games, where they're content to just throw short passes all game long and methodically march down the field. It worked in the NFCCG two seasons ago. It's very wise on their part because they dont have to contend with the pass rush.

But the drawback is that offensive penalties, turnovers will sink their offense. Once we got a lead, their offense was limited and ultimately they threw under 6 yards per pass.

I honestly don't see them winning against us like that… even if it wasn't our cleanest game on both sides of the ball, offense put up 30 points and the defense had 2 turnovers.

Damn. 2 nothing burgers from bosa is pretty annoying

Have a feeling he's going to have a year like Deebo did last year after he got paid. Shanny needs to get under his skin.
Let's just pump the brakes here! Bosa has not had the stats, but he is affecting the game. Plus he still needs to get into game shape. Let's see what he looks like in November/December when it matters most!

I don't know man. Most of their offense today was quick passes to wide open receivers underneath. Not exactly a pass rushing bonanza. He'll be fine.

And it was smart by them. Strength of the team and why give our guys multiple chances to hit Stafford?

Id rather see Purdy recognize and take those shots and miss than Jimmy G not even noticing or attempting to throw those deep shots.

Agreed, though I also agree with Wubbie's take a couple posts up.

It's hard to have those long methodical drives and play mistake free football. Especially when they are outgunned in a matchup against a team like us.

Not the cleanest of wins, but I can't say I was ever worried. A win is a win. On to the Giants.

You are not wrong, I fully expected to be 2-3 at 5 and completely not be worried about it.

Not me. I was probably 50-50 on the Pitt game going in, but the primary reason for* slow starts the last two years was corrected coming into this year. We're off and rolling.

that slowness crept back in, in todays game

I would of been surprised if he was stacking sacks. Teams really target bosa and send multiple blocks his way, he's also still playing into game shape. He got better as the game went on, you see it was annoying him he didn't get a sack lol

Im not worried though, it isn't like he is playing bad. Just not getting home on sacks. Plus, the rams line has been exceptional the first two weeks and have a really fast release qb. So it's a tall task, they'll get better

can't hit them if you don't throw them
