He had stafford and kyle had a busted jimmy for the nfc title and we almost won

Agreed on Mcvay. When it mattered the most he won and got a chip. He ain't Kyle's son. He's the big dog in the conversation

He didn't look like he felt like the big dog today. Ring or not, losing 9 games in a row to the same team will absolutely wear on you. That's twice a year, every year where you have to answer questions about why you're unable to beat this team and coach. s**t gets old fast.

Yeah, Matthew Stafford is indeed getting old fast also. Purdy, the young gun, beat him. I never got the feeling of calmness I had with Goff in terms of a win. At least Purdy's 23 and has a bright future ahead of him. Stafford might retire any day now, he still has a gun and still can throw with great accuracy. I never feel secure with a lead when he's the QB.

Homers at their best. Mcvay has a championship. Shanahan has choke after choke.

Today should have been an utter beat down with the vastly superior team and the rams looked like the better coached and disciplined team. Shanahan has all stars all over the place. Mcvay has some guy named puka on offense and rozeboom on defense. A loss today would have been an utter embarrassment

He's taken some punishment already. I expect his workload to slow down when Kupp gets back, at the very least.

yeah going from a like 10 game season or so, to a 17 game season vs NFL comp, he's taking a pounding, with that target volume
i had zero clue Earl Cooper had the record for most catches thru 2 games
I also have no idea how Kittle got beyond Rice in fewest games to however many catches he has

That was surprising.

To be fair, Rice didn't get to play with Himmy G and Mullens to start his career.
I have no dog in this hunt but don't you find it odd that the lambs kicked a field goal to cover the spread with no time on the clock. How does this help either team?

Do teams do this a lot?

Or he wanted the ending to go down as a 1-score game.

it was just a brainfart. McVay thought he would have time for a onside kick

Actually the tiebreaker in head to head is point difference.
So teams within your division first and conference should and will try to score and narrow the margin of victory.
Haven't lost to the rams in the regular season since 2018

in the 90s we went from 1990 - 1998 without losing to them

I wouldn't want to face them in the playoffs with a healthy Kupp and the young fella as their wideouts. Stafford is elite, no doubt…
