Nick bosa was our highest rated player on defense by PFF. Doesn't mean a ton but does show that he was impacted, just couldn't get home.
There is a lot more to playing DE than just sacks and he majes an impact every play - it won't always show up on the stats. He requires so much attention. Of course I'd like to see him get sacks, same way I like to see Brock get touchdowns - but I realize it's not a main defining stat. They're just sexy.

He seems to be good at finding holes, but I can't help that some of that is fear that Stafford can burn you deep and people are giving him those short passes. I mean his Y/R is only 10.6, below Deebo who constantly gets quick screens. For comparison, Brandon is at 15.6. So, I think he's a steal but I don't think he's as good as his number say. I'd still rather have Aiyuk and Deebo.

He had stafford and kyle had a busted jimmy for the nfc title and we almost won
We went full J Tartt

Anyone find it weird when the announcers were acting all surprised when the refs overturned that aiyuk catch to incomplete?
i thought it was so obviously incomplete, they acted like mcvay was a genius for challenging that
idk that just bugged me

Yeah, I was surprised they called it complete in the first place. I thought Sachenz said there's been a rule change in what constitutes as a catch therefore causing the confusion. I didn't understand what the rule change was.

The announcers were definitely annoying during the play. I think it was more weird that it was called a catch and reviewed though. The refs are pretty atrocious across the board I think.

Schedule question: now that the league moved to 17 games, how is it determined which teams get 8 home games or 9? Does it just alternate each year? I noticed we have 8 home, 9 away, but looks like the cowgirls and beagles do as well.

They did something similar later in the game. They flagged Ward for holding, then went back and huddled and came back to cancel the penalty bc they felt Stafford was out of the pocket. Replays showed he was still in the pocket…

Yes. We played 9 home games last year. This year we play only 8. It alternates yearly…
