I think they were committed to kicking the FG since they will need two scores anyways. They probably didn't focus much on the time left to realize kicking the FG there would be pretty much pointless as time would expire.

Agree on the two possibilities. 1) point differential 2) hoped to have time for an onside kick. Glad that Brock outplayed a 35 year old veteran QB with elite arm talent at the age of 23. Brock is going to have a long and successful career as long as they surround him with talent.

i was wondering why they dint kick a FG earlier then go for a hail mary to end game assuming they got onside kick

at that point they were just making it a 1 possession game lol
