What is the biggest weakness?

Lynch by now has gotta be thinking of 2 and 20 will try and cover 6; 11; 88 and 17; 10; 13; 14 during the post season !!

I think it's finally time to block you. It's gone from cringy nicknames to just a bunch of numbers. You're unreadable.

The CB's have been the weakness for years- Kyle's long-time strategy has been to put everything in the d line to rush the QB and the secondary takes a back seat, they just seem to accept that they will give up a big play in return sometimes but he banks on having enough firepower on the d line to bail them out. Which honestly, although it drives me crazy and leads to very irritating occasional big play breaks for the other teams which the fans will then dissect endlessly for weeks, has seemed to work. Sure they blow a play every now and then but usually the line then gets the stop when they need to. It's been this way for a few years now. I hate it because it seems risky to continue to ignore our CB needs every single year, but they keep ending up in championship positions so 🤷‍♀️. This year on average they still haven't given up a ton of points despite that horrendous drive against Arizona, they clamped down when needed after with the Hargrave sack. The Niners also seem to make in-season adjustments better than any team out there to continue to put themselves in a winning position so I see them making some changes after viewing the tape on the Arizona drive.

It's easy to see what the weakness of this team is but so far they seem to be countering it adequately enough especially this year now with a high-flying offense. I hope it continues to be enough.

Same here (about a week ago) - and I hardly ever come across its posts lulz.
We will find out Sunday night! Will Dak and Lamb torch the secondary? Or will Parsons have his way with McKivitz? Niners will obviously win, but this is a team we'll likely see in the playoffs and I consider it a tuneup. Definitely not gonna be a blowout. Who knows, those who wanna see Purdy make a comeback may finally get their wish.

That works great in the regular season, not so much in the playoffs

LOL...

some Mods would put me on a TO because it doesn't like the nicknames I've been using for years.. so I know everyone here knows whose #s I'm posting based on the POST SEASON match ups...

NFC

6 = Smith
11 = Brown
88 = CD

AFC

17 - Waddle
10 - Cheetah
13 - Davis
14 - Diggs
DBS are MID Tier IMO.

You can't have it all ,especially in today's salary cap NFL.

DBs, Right side oline, and depth.

Definitely the O-line. The right side of the o-line has to show that they can at least hold up by the end of the season. When we get to the playoffs, that's where the elite pass-rushers will be. The Cowboys and Eagles boast very strong pass rushes.

Even with a weak CB2, teams are still afraid of our pass rush and we still run a lot of zone. Those things can mask weaker cornerback play a little bit. 4 games in, teams are having to dink and dunk on us just to have offensive success. If they try to open the playbook with longer developing plays, the pass rush will eat them alive.
But weakness at RG and RT can absolutely derail both our offensive run AND pass game.

Hopefully Luter and Jaier Brown can help the squad later in the season. Wilks is going to have to coach up the rest of the DBs in the next couple of games while they get healthy and develop.
#1 weakness cornerbacks

#2 weakness offensive line

same as it has been for all of the shanahan lynch tenure
#1 - CB's

#2 - Right side of OLine - although they are playing much better than I thought they would.
