SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs NEW YORK GIANTS - 2023 Season Game 3

I think the penalties and the red zone struggles are proof that this team is still starting the season out slow like previous years. But we're so loaded on both sides of the ball, that it doesn't matter. I shudder to think what this team will look like in mid-season form.

PFF's highest graded OL for the Giants last night got a 40 pass blocking grade.
When Hufanga got the INT I thought how he's always there when a ball gets tipped. He's like vulture lurking around picking up the scraps. That's my new nickname for him. Hufanga The Vulture.
Now they have 9 days to prepare for the Cards. Poor Cards. I just hope they don't look past them since the have Dullass the next week.

He's got that awareness and knack for always being around the ball somehow. Reminds me of Kam Chancellor with Seattle.

Cards should be an easy W, especially with their best defensive player in Baker on IR but they are playing harder and smarter under the new coaching staff so the 49ers definitely can't look past them.

But what happens in some Weird scenario where the Cards beat the Cowboys this week...
Daniel Jones rushed for 5 yards

I think the person we will see the biggest difference in, is Brock. It will give him time to study the teams film and defense - make him more decisive and confident. Sometbing he didn't really get a chance to do this week against exotic blitz's

They other guys can just use the rest.
Quick comment on the TV broadcast. Al Michaels has really slipped. Not much enthusiasm. He made a big mistake when he said the Niners had 4 SB titles. He later corrected himself as I'm sure several people called him on that. On the other hand his comments about the shots of SF after the commercial breaks was spot on. There just isn't a whole lot to show around Santa Clara. Aerial views of endless office buildings isn't very picturesque.

I doubt it but you never know. Gannon is pretty familiar with the cowboys because he was with Philly before this.

He's pushing 80. I still like the guy and all that but he looked really old last night. Lol I can't imagine he can to much longer. He looked 80 last night.
