SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs NEW YORK GIANTS - 2023 Season Game 3

We always play down to the competition it seems. Hopefully it's just a nice, easy, relaxing game that we see a blowout and some of the 2nd team and young players get some reps.
Also, I don't want to actually put the words out into the universe, but let's also hope that we see the same after game reports that we've seen the first 2 weeks👍

On paper this is about as much a mismatch as you get in the NFL. Problem is games aren't played on paper. Bad teams rise up and play over their heads. Good teams play down to their level. This should be about 42-7 but it will probably be closer. Maybe 34-14 or 34-21. Jones could hit a couple of big passes against our questionable secondary if we don't get pressure on him. He's also a good runner which always seems to give the Niners a problem.

I don't typically watch mainstream NFL content but this is pretty entertaining.

Yeah this should be a laugher but it's a short week which can throw a team off. Sometimes teams who are clear underdogs play a lot more loose and that improves their performance. Plus you get the crazy bounce/penalty factors which can always change games and kill great teams.

Hopefully our team understands the opportunity ahead of them this season and manage to avoid any trap games and just go out there and handle business.

Just play smart football, avoid injury and we're winning this thing. Can't have any games to look back on at the end of the season and say "man if we didn't blow this one we could've had home field through the playoffs/etc"

Hurts had a very pedestrian game against us as a duel threat QB in the NFCCG.
