look it ain't America's Best Deep Ball, it's about being a QB1, executing plays within the structure of the offense, being the point guard and distributing, and yessir it's about winning football games

I doubt Brock will ever have the Herbert / Mahomes / Allen type deep ball. But if he can win a SB in spite of that deficiency, is this relevant?

Agree 💯%, but if I was going to redesign Kyle's offense to throw more deep stuff, I would definitely get much bigger offensive linemen for pass protection and for much more power/Gap blocking for the run. You need a really elite run game to operate those kinds of long ball offenses. On top of that, you have to have the Tyreek Hilll type WR's at least at two positions, if not more. So investing in a WR in the first round is probably a must.

Having said all that, I prefer Kyle's current ball control offense and his YAC monsters. I think - overall - it really plays better on the complementary football side by resting the defense. I love how Kyle just ball controls on offense and plays take away on defense. Basically, his time of possession usually is way more than the opposing teams time of possession.

Stafford succeeded due to short quick slants. This is likely what the Giants will do too to negate our D-line.

Difference is, Stafford will sit in the pocket till the last second, Jones will look to run at the slightest pressure.

I agree we need to make sure we protect the flat better this game than we did against the Rams. If he gets out there and our LBs stay to close to the line he will make some plays. It's a little bit of a measuring stick against the Cowboy's who made the Giants look like our second team. We should be able to dominate the Giants.
