49ERS vs CARDINALS Pregame Thread - 2023 Season Week 4

Our guys will be well rested and we'll prepared for this game with 9 days to to prepare. We just got a chance to heal up sit and watch our next two opponents in the same contest. This sets us up for nine days of studying and cleaning intel from the All 22 on a division rival and a chief NFC competitor

Good stuff!
Our team literally had the benefit of watching their back-to-back opponents face off. Figured that was kinda funny.

That said, Cardinals shouldn't be underestimated, no?
At least this game has some intrigue with it now instead of "Cardinals are the worst team in the NFL and we should beat them by 30". I prefer this than having extremally high expectations that are hard to accomplish in the NFL against any team.

I'm just glad our guys get one tape to preview and study our next two opponents with 9 days to prepare. There is "no way" we have a letdown these next couple weeks!

They're going to try to go through us, not around us. Like, they did with Dallas. That's the only way they're going to win. Can't pull a Dallas and got to be physical up front and not take them lightly. They've got nothing to lose and we can't play down to them. Get r done. Go, Dirty and our D Line upfront. 35-16, us.

Looking at this game like the Rams game. Division opponent, know each other well, they are capable of playing a good game. Brock breaks that 30 with 34pts. Cards comes out confident and feisty 23pts.

Niners 34-23

No, they should not be underestimated. They could easily be 3-0 right now. Jonathan Gannon knows us well having coached the Eagles D in the NFCCG last year. They were a big-time underachiever last year under a coach that should never have left college ball. This should be a Niner win but it may be more of a struggle than one might first think.

ya they don't have much talent tbh but they are without a doubt coached well they could just a easily be 3-0 with Murray they might have been
The season mantra - just win and no injuries

At this point, is Murray actually better than Dobbs? At least you know Dobbs is smart and dedicated.

it doesn't matter, all games will be a struggle. 0-3, 3-0.. we have a league wide target on our backs

No they were the exact reason why you don't underestimate anyone. I was a little nervous we would treat the Giants the same, but we didn't. Same thing here with AZ.

If you would have asked me what the higher likelihood of an upset was, the Niners vs Giants or Dallas vs Cards, I would have picked the Giants to upset us tbph. I still can't believe the Cards pulled that off
