Agree, and the following week is a big game that has major playoff implications.

We do need statement wins. Power rankings are affected by it. Ivanka Trump said in her book "The Trump Card" that the illusion of power and competence is more important than actually having power and competence.

Andre Agassi said "Image is everything". Power rankings may be fun for fantasy players but they don't mean anything as far as who gets in the playoffs and goes on to the SB. That's all determined on the field.

As long as we keep winning, I don't care if they put us dead last on the power rankings.

The problem here is that if we win we will be high in the rankings. There is a direct correlation. What a condondrum!

I don't see the problem. Maybe I'm missing something but power rankings by ESPN, PFF or anyone else don't mean a thing. It' the wins that matter. I get it that wins will make the team higher in the rankings but it doesn't matter if one guy has the Niners ranked ahead or behind another team. Power rankng are subjective or sometimes based on a computer. Both are meaningless.

I'm curious to watch Kinlaw in this game. We will need his big body in the run game. He's been playing surprisingly at a high level, which is awesome.

it's pretty incredible that we have two top interior lineman in Armstead & Hargrave - then our back up is grading out as a top 10 DT (Kinlaw). This interior play is what we were missing last season and has been great this year. Hopefully we can keep it up and continue dominating. We will need it against the cowboys and eagles later in the season.
