Have to admit it makes Sunday pretty low anxiety when you know we already won, no one is getting injured and the other teams have to play still.

Tune-up game

This isn't college where they always have some easy games on the schedule. You don't see 30 or 40 point favorites in the NFL. There are no tune-up games.

Nah, definitely a tune up game. The only thing AZ has going for it is that it's a divisional game.

the cool thing about being a fan is we are allowed to overlook teams and it won't matter to the Niners. 4-0 coming up

Seattle playing, so I will always root against them, unless them winning causes us to go to the Playoffs or have a higher seed.

Also, they may very well be tanking. Trap games come from bad teams acting like wounded animals, but tanking teams are just playing dead.

I spent that on a preseason ticket & the Niners lost if that helps? I got a darn good seat though..4th row center 9ers side. Had a good view of BP munching sunflower seeds and Lance being gutted. Lol. I just get NFL+ and watch games at bars/casinos.

Yeah, I just have never been excited about other teams, I will pay attention to what's going on generally but I don't feel the need or desire to watch all the games. Been a Niner fan since '88 wouldn't consider myself casual lol but I am not a complete NFL junkie either. I love football but other teams don't interest me a lot. I hardly pay attention to the Raiders outside games vs the Niners and I am from Vegas.lol I think it's cool Jimmy is on the team but other than that meh. I am impressed with O'Connell some. But fk the Raiders all day long

Hahah that's why I don't pay a penny to watch games. If I paid $400, I'd probably watch more.

when I was younger, I'd watch any and every game I could - as I've become older - I feel like it's a waste of time and try to be more productive…. Even though sometimes I just sit on YouTube watching random podcasts lmao

I wouldn't mind watching it at a bar for a game or 2 if I was out of town but no way for the entire season
far too many distractions when I'm trying to lock into the Niners . At least got NFL+ though so you can watch the full game later

This is true. ARI was winning versus NYG then realized their goal in 2023 was to lose.

I get that. Bars are distracting some. I do like the experience of being around other fans, even if rivals..cause it's all apart of it lol. Yeah it's nice to be able to watch the game as many times as I want on NFL+
