He didn't. Eddie D hesitated on extending Seifert and Seifert essentially quit.

I'm thrilled with it! I love the culture and team they've built. I love the leadership they exhibit, as well. I think it's a very cohesive group of leadership that is very inclusive - which speaks volumes in the second half of the draft and UDFA.

Now if they could just figure out rounds 1-3 on a more consistent basis. Lol

In CA, 50% of that is going to taxes. Leaves $450k which is $37,500/mo. Decent house in Santa Clara is probably $2M, which would be $15k/mo. That's a lot for his salary. He's definitely renting.

George Seifert. And no point going into the semantics. We know he "quit", but everyone knew it was Eddie pushing him out bc he couldn't overcome the Green Bay Packers. He was coaching the Panthers the following year.

EddieD wanted nothing short of perfection. And like him, the fans demanded it. I'm sure the fans of today would have been quite content with Seifert losing perennially to the Cowboys and Packers in the NFCC games because you know….it's "successful" season

Lol poor Brock is probably living paycheck to paycheck. Down to just Ramen and potatoes the last couple days of the month before his next $50,000 monthly paycheck comes in. Rumor has it he had to take the Toyota deal just to put food on the table and keep himself from defaulting on his student loans.
